Your farm is high tech! What is something you've learned from that technology you can share with those growing vegetables in their backyard?

Using different technologies can help facilitate the growth of veggies in ways that are not normally practiced. We use microscopes, and make teas and use essential oils all in a plight to be chemical free on all levels. That said, some of our farming practices can easily be applied on a backyard basis. For example,� we grow in an intensive manner (the plants are spaced closer than normal together). Because of this it is extremely important to have healthy soil so that the plants thrive. In a backyard you can utilize this same model of growing in close proximity with raised beds.

We are attempting to remove barriers from the individual's who can really benefit from zero chemical fresh produce by offering weekly deliveries of produce, eggs, fresh baked bread, etc. We are passionate about food desert areas like Clarkston. Most residents are accustomed to fresh produce in their country and I think that by offering them that small piece of familiarity could make living in a new country just a tad easier. To reach customers in this community, we deliver and utilize the Stone Mountain Farmers Market for pick up locations close to Clarkston.

How'd you get started making butter and oils and what makes yours special?.��

We started making oils and butter to utilize fresh herbs that we had such an abundance of during the growing season. We both love to cook and have sold prepared food in the past. In doing so, we learned that making our own butters, oils, teas, mayo, and creams makes a huge difference in the taste. In making butters, we decided to be create and add different textures to highlight the taste when paired with our homemade breads. So our Blueberry maple butter pairs excellently with our Italian breads. Our Garlic herb butter taste phenominal with seafood. Our Lavender Honey butter pairs well with toast, or bagels, but gives fair trade coffee an unbelievable taste! Our cardamom vanilla butter is by far the crowds favorite. Our oils and butters and made and infused using special techniques to aquire texture and taste.
